Hello, I'm Stephanie (she/her) and I'd like to tell you a bit about me! First and foremost, I am a mom from Norfolk County, a rural community in southern Ontario.
I am an RSW with a Master's degree in Social Work. I have been working in the field of mental health since 2011 and for the past ten years I have been employed as a psychotherapist providing therapy to children, youth and families at a community mental health agency. Within this role I also provide supervision to Master's students and new clinicians.
I am passionate about psychotherapy ! As a clinician I work hard to position myself as a collaborative partner in someone's journey, with them as the expert of their life. Similarly, in supervision I am honoured to join you on your journey of exploring the art of what we do and growing your practice to its fullest potential.
I am excited to welcome you to my private practice focusing solely on clinical supervision and consultation. I meet all supervision requirements laid out by CRPO and OCSWSSW.
Let's connect to see if this is a good fit for you!
I strive to provide clinical supervision that is useful to you as a person and a practitioner! You can expect a supportive relationship that provides space for self-reflection, clinical direction, opportunities for learning, ethical considerations and an eye to self-care.
I will meet you exactly where you are in your career and clinical practice and together we can focus on your unique need for supervision!
I am eclectic in my approach to therapy. I value non-pathologizing, holistic and strength based work that focuses on the body and mind as beautifully interconnected systems.
I have training in various modalities including Narrative, Solution Focused Brief therapy, Single Session therapy, ACT, Mindfulness, CBT, ERP, DBT and most recently the use of nutrition in mental health.
